Problem with Your Order?

If you placed your order over the phone with a salesperson, by e-mail, or by using our "Live Chat" service: (FOR ORDERS PLACED ONLINE, SEE BELOW)

  • Locate the yellow packing slip paper that was shipped with your order.
  • Call the Modern Plastics location where you placed your order.
  • Ask to speak with the salesperson with whom you placed the order.
  • Locate your customer number and order number from the packing slip.
  • Explain the exact nature of the problem in detail.
  • Have your credit card information ready (if applicable).

Damaged Shipments
Visual Damage: If a shipment appears damaged, it should be noted by the carrier on the carrier's receipt. Inspect material prior to receiving before you sign for its acceptance.

Concealed Damage: Claims for concealed damage on shipments must be filed with the carrier. It is advised that you retain all packing materials, cartons, and/or pictures of the damaged shipment for your claim.

UPS / Common Carrier Damage Procedure: Contact the appropriate Modern Plastics branch location where you placed your order. Hold onto the merchandise, container and all packing materials until advised otherwise by UPS or Modern Plastics. If you are able to take a digital picture of the damage, please e-mail the pictures to customerservice@modernplastics.com.

Missing Certifications: All material certifications are located on the outside of the shipping box/container in a specially designed clear pocket labeled "Certifications Enclosed." If you had requested certifications with your shipment and they are missing, please contact Daryl Guberman at 800.243.9696, Extension 223 or e-mail at; dguberman@modernplastics.com.

Returns
No returns will be accepted without prior authorization in the form of an "RMA" number obtained by calling our sales office. Any claims for shortage or breakage for any reason must be made within 30 days from date of shipment. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking charge, plus reconditioning and repacking costs if necessary. No specially-made, custom fabricated, non-"cataloged", special-ordered, or cut-to-size item may be returned.

In the event of product defect or failure, Modern Plastics liability shall not exceed the cost of the product when purchased from Modern Plastics, by a customer. It should be noted that "labor" or other incidental costs, are never warranted by Modern Plastics or its manufactures, in the event of product failure.
