ECOGEHR PLA™

Modern Plastics offers ECOGEHR PLA™ that has general applications such as the electronic industry, mechanical engineering, medical industry, food industry, textile industry, and as a replacement of PET plastics.
ECOGEHR PLA-L™ is a blend of polylactic (polylactic acid), some lignine, fatty acid and wax. This biopolymer is new to our industry and can be used in temperatures ranging from -22°F to +140°F.

ECOGEHR C-L™
Modern Plastics offers ECOGEHR C-l™, a blend of lignin and its derivates, fibers based on ligno cellulose and naturally resin. The material is made out of 100 % renewable material and
is deposed of by composting or by incineration.
General Properties:
- Thermoplastic based on renewable raw materials, environmentally safe and practically carbon neutral in the energy lifecycle
- C-L is biodegradable
- Waste disposal e.g. by composting respectively incineration
- Good mechanical properties similar to ABS
- Higher stiffness and a modulus of elasticity up to 4248 MPa
- Machinable similar to wood
- Isotropic properties

ECOGEHR WPC™
ECOGEHR WPC™materials are composites based on standard polymers and wood fibres. Due to the excelent bond of the wood fibres to the polymer, the materials have a high mechanical strength. Parts in durable technical applications are possible with ECOGEHR WPC. Suitable for open air applications. Antibacterial grade available. Processability is similar to wood.
ECOGEHR WPC-30PP™
- Composite based on polypropylene (PP) and wood fibers.
ECOGEHR WPC-50PVC
- Composite based on polyvinylchloride (PVC-U) and
wood fibers.

ECOGEHR PA™
Modern Plastics offers ECOGEHR PA™ 6.10 and ECOGEHR PA 11. ECOGEHR PA™ 6.10 (polyamide) is based upon 60% of a renewable resource, sebacic acid, which is extracted from castor beans. ECOGEHR PA 6.10 combines a low specific gravity with a high impact strength at low temperatures. It shows a good dimensional stability due to low humidity absorption. With these properties, ECOGEHR PA™ 6.10 is an adequate material even for applications, where the standard PA 6 meets its limits.
