SANALITE® HDPE, HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE - Sanalite® is Poly-Hi Solidur's trade name for a premium cutting board material. It is lightweight, easily cleaned, odorless and tasteless, resists acids, and has a peddled surface. It is also NSF certified (under Standard 02) and meets FDA regulation.
Sanalite® is a premium cutting board material with a surface that is easy on cutting blades. Sanalite® is used in a wide array of applications — from home use to commercial food preparation, restaurants, company and school cafeterias and some of the largest packing plants in the United States. Other uses are in RV campers, boats, trailers, etc. Sanalite® has a unique "self-healing quality" that helps retain its shape and also, because of its unique molecular makeup, Sanalite® can't trap odors or harmful bacteria into the work surface. When it comes to cleanup, cleaning agents simply wash rinse away. Sanalite® is available in two formulations — high density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene which is a harder surface— both in a "natural" color. Sanalite® HDPE can be ordered in three different sheet sizes: 48" x 96" and 48" x 120" sheets with gauge sizes ranging from 1/4" to 1"; 60" x 120" sheets with four gauge sizes ranging from ½" to 1".
