Tecanyl™ MT (PPE) Rod as supplied from Ensinger-Hyde and is produced from GE Plastics Noryl® HNA055 resin.  Noryl® HNA055 resin is an excellent material for medical device application destined for repeated exposure to autoclaving cycles.  It has good impact properties and is easily machines.  It is preferred in the medical and food technology fields.  Applications include surgical instruments, instrument handles, implant trials, sterilization trays, multi-use components.

Properties:

2.  Compatible with morpholine.  Very resistant to gamma radiation, steam autoclave and ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilzation.
